Winter is coming, you have enjoyed the last days in your swimming pool. It is time to protect it till next spring. There are many different pool cover models. They are all efficient.

Your choice will be determined by :

  • the location of your pool : is it surrounded by trees ?
  • the exposure of your pool : is your terrain elevated or not ? Is it exposed to the wind and bad weather ?
  • the way you use your pool : are you swimming during 5 to 6 months or rather 8 to 9 months ?

The securing winter opaque cover : an ultra-light safety cover for winter

The winter opaque cover, as its name suggests, is opaque. This is the big difference with other covers : as it avoids the light passing trough, its opacity stops the photosynthesis and protects your pool water against the proliferation of algae. Its texture and its fastening system avoids dirt, leaves, pine needles, etc. polluting your pool water. Furthermore it has small holes in the center to evacuate rain water.
This cover is made of an ultra resistant and very light polyester tissue that is coated with PVC on both sides. It exists in blue, taupe, beige, almond green and grey; on the inside it is beige colored to avoid stains the coping stones. It can be easily attached to wooden, concrete and tiled terraces.
Optionally you can add a small cover for your external stair.
